Throughout the years, our bodies can develop stubborn fat that’s hard to get rid of through diet and exercise alone. With an eye for detail and experienced hands, Dr. Windsor and his Alpharetta-based team improve the shape and appearance of the body through body sculpting.
Contouring the body is achieved by removing excess skin and fat, to both improve the tone and shape of the affected areas, such as the thighs and abdomen. Leaving patients feeling more confident and self-assured in both mind and body.
It is not unusual for people to feel unhappy about their bodies. Areas that often create discomfort include the upper arms, inner- and outer thighs, buttocks, and abdomen. Ultimately, regardless of how the ideal weight is reached, additional cosmetic intervention is often needed for toning and shaping.
This can be achieved by means of surgical, or non-surgical cosmetic procedures and therapies. Dr. Windsor is delighted to offer the following body sculpting procedures to help his patients look and feel better in their own skin.
Using directional minimally-invasive radiofrequency therapy, BodyTite contours and tightens the skin tissue.
A surgical procedure whereby fat is suctioned out of the body while you are under anesthesia.
Remodels body tissue and improves the overall appearance of the skin through radiofrequency energy.
Sculpts the skin, tissue, and collagen through radiofrequency energy for improved tone and shape.
Adults who have attained their ideal weight and are in good health, with no medical conditions, are ideal candidates to consider body contouring. In addition, the following criteria may improve your candidacy:
Dr. Windsor will first do a thorough medical assessment to confirm whether you are a candidate for any of the body sculpting procedures available at Trilogy Med Spa.
Each body contouring option at Trilogy Med Spa comes with its own associated risks. These risks will be discussed with you in detail during your consultation. Surgical procedures do however pose a greater risk than non-surgical procedures.
Surgery risks range from an allergic reaction to anesthesia, to excessive swelling and bleeding. It is therefore important to follow your doctor’s instructions with great care for optimal healing.
Will I need to book time off work for my recovery?
Your recovery process and time will depend on the body sculpting procedure that best suits your profile and desired goal. Usually, non-surgical procedures require minimal downtime and you can resume your daily activities within a few days. Recovery from surgical procedures such as liposuction can take a few weeks.
Will my results last forever?
Depending on your recommended procedures, you may need to have follow-up therapies to maintain your results. Your surgeon will discuss this with you in more detail during a consultation.
