Leaking urine is a medical problem that severely restricts a woman’s daily activities and negatively impacts their psychological and social well-being.
Urinary Incontinence Types
Pregnancy, childbirth, and aging are some of the factors that contribute to a loss of bladder control in women. There are four types:
Stress Urinary Incontinence (SUI)
SUI happens when the pelvic floor muscles are stretched and urine leaks during physical activity that puts pressure on the bladder, such as coughing, laughing, or bending.
Overactive Bladder (OAB)
OAB, also referred to as urgency incontinence, affects more than 40% of women in the USA. It is the sudden urge to urinate, even when there is no need to.
Mixed Incontinence
This type is a combination of SUI and OAB.
Overflow Incontinence
With this type, the body makes more urine than what the bladder can hold.
Before any treatment options are discussed, your doctor will do a thorough medical assessment. During your consultation, it is important to inform your physician of any medical conditions, medications and, or previous treatment.
Any woman who suffers from a weak bladder may be a candidate for the non-invasive Aviva and EmpowerRF treatment options.

There are products that can hold urine, but these may add to the embarrassment experienced by women. Our two gentle treatment options are:
Aviva
Using radiofrequency energy, collagen is stimulated in the labia and around the vagina. This treats bladder leakage problems without the need for invasive mesh surgery.
EmpowerRF
Using a combination of radiofrequency (RF) and electrical muscle stimulation (EMS), the device improves bladder function and helps restore self-confidence and wellness.
What can you expect during recovery?
Our Aviva and EmpowerRF treatments require very little downtime. Some patients may feel temporarily bruised and swollen, and in some cases, they may experience vaginal discharge. Your doctor will discuss aftercare with you in detail and it is also recommended that patients not submerge the treatment area in hot water for a few days and abstain from sexual intercourse.
Are there any risks?
