Microneedling, also referred to as dermarolling or collagen induction therapy, helps activate the body’s natural healing process and stimulates collagen production. During microneedling at our Alpharetta office, our board-certified physician Dr. Windsor gently punctures the skin at different depths with tiny sterile needles.
At Trilogy Med Spa we understand the importance of aging with grace. You can trust our treatment plan to boost your confidence and self-esteem while restoring youthful radiance. Our emphasis is on individual care that meets your desired beauty and wellness goals.
While there are many lotions and potions to diminish the signs of aging, there are few that can offer stimulation of collagen and natural healing from below the skin surface. Microneedling is one such treatment that creates tiny channels in the dermis that activates the skin’s natural healing process.
We can use microneedling on the face, neck, stomach, arms, and legs—a more radiant appearance results after fine lines and wrinkles fade. In addition, cell regeneration, healing, and repair happen even faster when combined with platelet-rich plasma (also referred to as the vampire facial) or exosome therapy.
Acting your age and looking your age are two very different things. However, at Trilogy Med Spa we believe that with aging comes the understanding that you do not have to look your age. Instead, you can regain youthful radiance with the help of microneedling in the care of our experienced board-certified physician, Dr. Windsor, who provides cosmetic skincare solutions to patients throughout Alpharetta.
You are an ideal candidate for needling if you are in good health and have no medical conditions that may adversely affect your treatment or recovery. During your consultation, Dr. Windsor will take down a detailed medical history and discuss your concerns to determine whether microneedling is the best option. For example, if you struggle with the following problems, then this skincare solution may be able to help you:
Expect your skin to feel as if you have spent too much time in the sun. Your skin may have a flushed appearance and possible swelling. This effect will last for 2 – 3 days even though healing will continue for two months. You will receive strict guidelines on how best to care for your skin during your recovery period to reduce the risk of infection and increase optimal recovery.
The number of sessions will depend on your skin’s condition in the treatment area. For example, you may need two sessions for fine lines and wrinkles, whereas for scarring, you may need up to 4 or more sessions. Your provider will evaluate your skin and determine the treatment plan during your consultation.
While the microneedling is effective and safe, you may experience some redness and swelling during the first few days of post-needling. You should also avoid this option if you are pregnant, have recently received radiation therapy, or have any skin diseases that may negatively affect your treatment and recovery.
